Description
The Karuizawa Distillery was established in 1955 in the foothills of Mount Asama – an active volcano. The area is a popular mountain resort and the distillery is the highest in Japan at 850m above sea level. Everything from Karuizawa is really good.
This particular bottle is a vintage from the remaining stock of the legendary closed Karuizawa distillery. It was distilled in 1999 and was aged in cask #879 for at least 13 years. It is presented in an original box. We can’t recommend this enough!
