Mars Shinshu might not be the largest whisky distillery in Japan, but it more than makes up for its size with its elegance and grace. The Komagatake 10 Year Old Pure Malt Whisky Wine Cask Finish Maltage (700ml, 40%) is a pure malt, with no added grain whisky. Distilled at the highest operational distillery in Japan, and blended from carefully selected malts, the taste is calm, with flavour reminiscent of red fruits, like cherries. A deep and complex finish. This is without a doubt one of the finest whiskies from Mars. We highly recommend that you try it if you’d like to know how Mars compares to Nikka and Suntory.
