After the Chichibu Festival 2017 bottling was named the World’s Best Single Cask Single Malt at the World Whiskies Awards 2017, the 2018 edition has been highly anticipated. The bottle was released at the festival held on February 18th, 2018, as people lined up for a chance to buy one. Aged for 7 years in a cream sherry hogshead and bottled at 59.6%, this is one of the most sought-after Japanese whiskies of 2018.
