The Koshi-No “Shinobu” is an intriguing blend matured in Mizunara Oak. This type of wood is expensive and hard to craft into barrels, but the flavours that it imparts on the whisky are well-worth the trouble. Incense, gentle vanilla and wafts of herbal spices are the most apparent in this well-rounded and tasty blended expression.
