A truly special single cask whisky from the Suntory Owner’s Cask series that was distilled at the world-famous Yamazaki distillery in 1994 and matured for 12 years before bottling in 2006. This bottling is a particularly unique Owner’s Cask release. It is the only whisky in the series to feature a black and gold label (nearly all other releases are white) and it was left to mature in the Yamazaki cellars, while most Owner’s Cask whiskies are moved elsewhere for maturation.
It exhibits the incredible Yamazaki style in all its glory and with only 104 bottles produced, it has to be one of the rarest and most collectable Yamazaki 12 single malt whiskies ever to be seen. A real masterpiece from Japan’s most popular distillery that would be the centrepiece of any whisky cabinet.
