Suntory is the oldest whisky making company in Japan. Its origins stretch back to a small shop, started in 1899 by Torii Shinjiro, which specialized in selling imported wines. During this period, the company was known as Kotobukiya. In 1964, Kotobukiya changed its name to Suntory (Torii san backwards), and these Suntory Whisky “Imperial” bottles were released to commemorate this event. This is a set of Suntory Imperial whisky and brandy. Both were released in bohemian glass decanters – a luxury cut crystal glass, making them truly luxurious expressions. It comes in a gift box.
