This brand new Yamazakura Asaka single malt was created by marrying liquid matured in two ex-bourbon barrels. It was distilled in 2017 and matured for around 5 years before bottling in 2022 and it brings a plethora of sweet, fruity and spicy notes to explore. The Asaka Distillery is rapidly growing in popularity thanks to the excellent expressions they have been releasing and this latest one is yet another to add to the list.
