Your cask remains securely stored in the distillery’s own warehouse, where maturation and maintenance are expertly overseen by the Master Distiller and their team. Cask storage is never outsourced to third-party warehouses.

With your cask purchase you get visitation rights, where you can tour the distillery, meet the team, touch your cask, draw samples and even taste them with the Master Distiller, getting their expert insights into how your whisky is evolving.

While all cask owners can trade their casks if they wish, we always encourage our clients to bottle, keep what they love, and sell the rest through us or another retailer.

Some distilleries have minimum or maximum ageing requirements which are communicated pre-purchase, giving you the flexibility to decide when and how to bottle within those guidelines.
