This old & rare Yamazaki single malt is a single cask whisky from the famous Owner's Cask series, which allowed private individuals to purchase unique casks for Yamazaki whisky. Long gone are those days, but the quality, rarity and collectible nature of these expressions remains today. This particular expression was distilled in 1996 and matured in a top quality sherry butt for 12 whole years, resulting in a gorgeous ruby red colour and exciting tasting notes including red berries, sultanas, spiced oak, gentle cinnamon and melted dark chocolate. As a single cask whisky, of which only 432 bottles were produced, this bottling is highly sought after by collectors around the globe. A delicious sherry bomb.
