This Wakatsuru Junenmyo is a smooth, fruity blended whisky that was given a finishing period in a wine cask that has added gentle fruity, tannic notes and gentle spices to the delicious spirit. This whisky was named after the village of Junenmyo, known for producing oil lamps, with Wakatsuru stating they hope "it warms your heart like a gentle light of lamp. *This particular bottling was produced prior to the introduction of Japanese whisky labeling standards in February 2021.*
