Yamazaki was the first Japanese distillery, established in 1923. The distillery is situated in the vale of Yamazaki, being an area of dense bamboo groves at the foot of Mt. Tennozan, just outside Kyoto. Kyoto is Japan's ancient capital and stronghold of traditional Japanese culture. This set includes 3 bottles of single malt whisky from Suntory, and a Suntory W Shop-Osaka. Alimited NAS bottling and an original bag.The malt used in this release has been dried at a temperature higher than usual, giving it a very peculiar character. Last March 2016,W. shop has been closed.No more releases of W.Whiskies so it will be more difficult tohave one!
