The Yamazaki distillery matured this whisky in a 480 litre puncheon cask, which is larger than your regular hogshead cask. Bottled at the higher strength of 48%, the Puncheon is an incredibly special ingredient, giving this Yamazaki single malt whisky a uniquely sweet aroma and flavor.
