A limited release of Suntory's award winning whisky, with only about 100 bottles ever made. This Yamazaki single malt whisky, aged 25 years, is specially designed to epitomize Japanese hospitality. Using traditional Washi paper, depicting the bamboo forests of Yamazaki, and coming in a Paulownia wood case, it is the perfect gift. Sealed with a five-cord 'Mizuhiki', which symbolizes joining hands and heart of the giver with the recipient, thisis the very essence of Japanese hospitality.

Yamazaki's astonishing 25 year old, aged in the finest Sherry casks for the entire maturation period, produces a fragrant, sherried, fruity, oaky masterpiece. Yummers.

Yamazaki is Japan's oldest whisky distillery opened in 1923, it was founded by Shinjiro Torii near Oaska. The location was chosen because of the excellent water supply in the area. This seems to have payed off, today Single Malts from the Yamazaki distillery has the largest share of any single malts whiskies in Japan. The 18 year old Yamazaki Single Malts is thought by many to be the best whisky in the world and has for example won six consecutive double gold medals at the San Francisco Spirits Competitions from 2008 to 2013.
