"Wa-Kyo" is an exclusive blended whisky by Suntory's Chief Blender, Shinji Fukuyo, for the famous Japanese cellar, Shinanoya. This bottle is from a limited release of 539 bottles, which were all sold in pre-order. To pay tribute to Fukuyo's blend, Shinanoya hired famous Japanese calligrapher, Master Shoshu, to design the bottle label. Shinji Fukuyo describes his "Wa-Kyo" as soft, sweet and intensely spicy, with notes of malt, grain, and honey. It is also marked by the Mizunara wood with spicy notes of incense and cinnamon, and will leave you with aromas of pepper in its long and smooth finish.
