This Suntory Umeshu plum wine was carefully aged in toasted barrels that had previously held top quality whisky and more plum wine before it. The maturing took place at the famous Yamazaki distillery, as is highlighted on the bottle. It's a delicate and intricate drink that brings toasted oak, vanilla and summery floral flavours to the table. A real delight.
