The 2014 Iwadarehara Merlot by Suntory’s Shiojiri winery comes featuring an entirely new label, very different to the vintages from previous years. This vintage was released in Japan on September 5th , 2017. Despite the artistic change, the wine follows in the footsteps of the previous vintages, with an abundance of berry notes and decadence. Hints of smoke and oak can be detected. The soft yet evident tannins shine through the fruity, sweet character, bringing the experience to rich, satisfying close.
