Of all Suntory's products, the Hibiki remains the most popular, having been chosen as the best whisky in the world on several occasions. This Hibiki was bottled for Suntory Limited to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the company. It was released as a gift for Suntory's employees and was not originally intended for sale. The gold label was only released between 1998 to 2001, and has not been seen since, making it a bottle worth treasuring.
