This unique small batch single malt release from the brilliant Nagahama Distillery was distilled in 2017 and matured in a single Bourgogne wine cask for around 5 years before bottling in 2021. The results are an epically rich whisky, with notes of red berries, dried fruits, cinnamon spice and sticky dates. It's another fantastic creation from Nagahama and one that is highly limited in numbers.
