Shinozaki Co. Ltd is located at Fukuoka prefecture in the northern part of Kyushu Island. They are known for their wide variety of alcoholic beverages such as Seishu, Shochu and Amazake. Shinozaki Co. Ltd. never uses tap water. From the beginning to the end of the process they use spring water from a well. This particular bottle from Shinozaki is a shochu made of barley, and was aged for 4 years in oak. This shochu has already won the Gold Medal at Monde Selection for 13 consecutive years and won ”Two Stars” at the International Taste & Quality Institute in 2008.
