Nikka has come a long way since it was first founded in Hokkaido, by Masataka Taketsuru, the “Father of Japanese Whisky.” Today, Nikka is one of the most recognizable alcoholic beverage companies in Japan with its products available in every part of the country. This particular bottle from Nikka is a Miyagikyo Apple brandy. It is a limited edition bottle and was released to commemorate the 100th Wedding Anniversary of Masataka Taketsuru and Rita Taketsuru.
