Produced using Merlot grapes Shiojiri, Japan this expression comes from the huge Alps Wine Co. After aging for 20 month in French oak barrels, a spectacular smoothness has come to be. The soft notes of cassis and vanilla are most evident, followed by gentle spice, campfire smoke, and wet wood. The expression was awarded a Silver at the Japan Wine Competition in 2016.
