This two bottle whisky set from Kirin's Fuji Gotemba distillery is the 2019 Limited Edition Distiller's Select. It includes two fine cask strength whiskies, one single malt and one single grain. The single malt was distilled in 2014 and exhibits a dark amber colour along with an intriguing range of sweet, smooth and spicy notes. The single grain whisky is much darker in colour and brings rich notes of spiced oak, dried fruits and gentle floral hints that linger in the background. Both are incredibly accomplished expressions from a distillery that is quickly becoming known for producing elegant whiskies with a good depth of flavour. This is a limited edition set that we would highly recommend getting your hands on.
