Kawasaki was set up in 1935 in Kawasaki prefecture on the outskirts of Tokyo. One of the smallest distilleries in Japan, it is not as well-known as its sister distillery Karuizawa. Kawasaki did, however, have a reputation for making excellent grain whisky. This particular bottle contains single cask, single grain whisky. Distilled in 1982 and then aged in a sherry butt cask #7411 until 2010.One of 669 bottles ever released!
