Kavalan is Taiwan’s first whisky maker and the nation’s only family-owned whisky distillery. This particular whisky from Kavalan was awarded with the biggest award in its category at the 2015 International Spirits Challenge (ISC). It is a full-flavoured whisky that was matured in American ex-Bourbon casks, non chill-filtered and has vanilla, fruit and coconut highlights. It is a good whisky.
