Karuizawa is the gold standard of rare Japanese whisky. The distillery closed its doors in 2011, although it had not been producing whisky for over a decade. This particular bottle is a single cask release from the "Vintage - Single Cask Malt Whisky" series. It was produced in 1994 and matured for 15 years before being bottled cask strength in 2010. A fantastic and rare release.
