Karuizawa is the gold standard of rare Japanese whisky. The distillery closed its doors in 2011, although it had not been producing whisky for over a decade. This particular bottle is a single cask release from the "Vintage - Single Cask Malt Whisky" series. It was produced in 1993 and bottled in 2006 at a cask strength of 60.1%. A fantastic and rare release.
