Karuizawa is the gold standard of rare Japanese whisky. The distillery closed its doors in 2011, although it had not been producing whisky for over a decade. Being a silent distillery, everything from Karuizawa is a rare collector’s whisky.
This particular whisky was distilled in 1999 and matured for 14 years before being bottled in 2013. This is a great whisky!
