The Karuizawa Distillery was established in 1955 in the foothills of Mount Asama – an active volcano. The area is a popular mountain resort and the distillery is the highest in Japan at 850m above sea level. This Karuizawa was distilled last 1985 in Cask #2364 and was bottled in 2015. Distilled at Karuizawa distillery with a label designed by Singapore artist Warren Khong. Everything from Karuizawa is really good, and we think you will agree.
