Karuizawa is the gold standard of rare Japanese whisky. The distillery closed its doors in 2011, although it had not been producing whisky for over a decade. This bottle was distilled in 1981 and matured in sherry butt cask #4659 for 30 years before being bottled in 2012. A very rare collectors edition like everything else from Karuizawa!
