Owned by Venture whisky, the Chichibu distillery was founded in 2004 in Chichibu city, Saitama, just outside of Tokyo (hence its name). This particular offering from the great Ichiro Akuto is a Chichibu IPA cask finished single malt release. It is all the fruity, hoppy, citrusy flavours and aromas from the India pale ale are perfectly complimented by the maltiness and intensity of the whisky. This bottle also comes with another individual bottle, the Kyoto Ki Noh Bi Ex-Karuizawa Sherry Cask Dry Gin. Both comes with original individual boxes, what more can we ask?
