This rare example of new make spirit from the Chichibu Distillery peels back the curtain and gives us a peek behind the scenes at the already legendary distillery owned by Ichiro Akuto. It was distilled in May 2008 and matured in a bourbon barrel for just four months before being bottled. Sweet, zesty and elegant, it offers plenty for the avid whisky-lover, despite not officially being classed as single malt, and gives us a taste of Chichibu liquid fresh from the still. A real delight of which only 277 bottles were produced.
