This Chichibu Intergalactic Edition set features two stunning whiskies distilled at Japan's fastest rising distillery. Both whiskies in the set are rare single cask single malts that were expertly crafted by the master distillers at Chichibu and released for selected international markets. Edition 1 was distilled in 2012 and matured in a 3rd-fill bourbon barrel that had previously been used for peated Chichibu, before being bottled at 63.5% in 2019. Only 182 bottles were produced. Edition 2 was distilled in 2011 before being given a unique maturation period in a Belgian stout barrel and bottled in 2019. Coming in 55.8%, it's rich and absolutely packing with an incredible array of notes. Only 238 bottles were produced.
