You’ve heard about Ichiro Akuto, right? If you haven’t, it’s about time you did! He is a rockstar of the Japanese whisky world, and his family have been in the alcohol industry since the 1600s. This particular Ichiro’s malt Chichibu single malt was distilled in 2010 and aged in a Sherry Hogshead Cask before being released. Exclusively bottled for Mitsukoshi Isetan, this wonderful cask is bursting with notes of sherry, dried fruit, and sweet malt.
