Chateau Brillant 1977 Red
$399.99
The Sadoya winery in Yamanashi, founded by Shiko Imai in 1917, is the oldest winery in the area, as is this expression.
The Chateau Brillant range came to life after WWII, first released to the public in the 1950. Age has added immense depth to this Cabernet Sauvignon, adding strong tannins, deep oak, and notes of earth to the dark fruit and chocolate character. One of the oldest Japanese wines in existence, this is one you don’t want to miss.
