This exciting peated single malt was distilled at the popular Mars Shinshu distillery in 2013 and matured in a first-fill bourbon barrel for 3 years before being bottled by independent bottler, Blackadder, in 2016. It brings an incredible array of light fruity notes and a gentle grassiness that marry perfectly with the gentle whiffs of peat smoke throughout. It's a single cask whisky of which only 239 bottles were produced.
