Unveiling Amahagan's fourth edition, Amahagan Madoromi Barmaid "Shannon Fu," in partnership with the famous comic "Madoromi Barmaid." This is a specially made 47% alcohol strength whisky that is distilled at Nagahama Distillery. Intense bourbon-like wood taste and a beautiful aroma were produced by this deep amber colored limited edition. The top notes are soft and woody, with spicy clove and nutmeg scents. The fruitiness evocative of ripe oranges and the sweet fragrance of caramel sauce intensify with time. The tongue is greeted with an explosion of tropical fruits and fresh white peach compote, then followed by a woody, spicy note from the barrel, ending inan intense and dry aftertaste. This particular Amahagan bottle features the Shannon Fu theme. She is Ashley's younger sister, and she works well with the major characters. She also has the personality of "going my own way," a phrase utilized in the Old Fashioned cocktail. Shannon, unlike her older sister Ashley, who only speaks English and Cantonese, is proficient in Japanese and a dependable but rather stubborn individual. This blend, which is meant to matchthe traditional "Old Fashioned" cocktail prepared with rye and bourbon whisky, is created by combining two distinct kinds of grain whisky with a magnificent sherry cask whisky that has a subtle flavor reminiscent of Shannon. This is a very flavorful blended whisky that can be used as a base for cocktails,as well as enjoyed straight or on the rocks.
