This excellent Japanese craft gin comes from Kagoshima's Sata Souji Shoten distillery, most famous for making a range of delicious shochu. The distillery has an on-going relationship with French eau de vie producer Jean-Paul Mette and they collaborated extensively for this 'Heart' bottling. Six different types of botanicals were used in its creation, including yuzu, macha and juniper, but cherry blossom is the real star of the show here. Floral, delicate and refreshing, this is a must try for gin-lovers.
