Suntory are hugely famous for their incredible whisky expressions, but inside Japan, their Umeshu is also widely regarded as some of the very best. This expression is a fruity and elegant plum liqueur that works wonders on the nose and palate with bursts of fruits backed up by gentle oak from the Yamazaki cask that is was matured in. A really fine Umeshu.
