Nikka was the life’s work of Masataka Taketsuru, the “Father of Japanese Whisky”. Its products are rightly celebrated worldwide for their quality, and it is not an exaggeration to say that you can feel the ingenuity of Masataka in Nikka whisky. This particular single malt whisky was distilled in 1997 and bottled in 2013. It was released for Old Nic's Dram C.W. Nicol 50th Anniversary since Old Nic came to Japan.
