Nikka has come a long way since it was founded by Masataka Taketsuru, the ‘Father of Japanese Whisky’. Today, it is an empire, and its products frequently win awards at international whisky competitions. The Nikka 70th Anniversary is a commemorative bottle for the Nikka distillery.This particular 12 year old Miyagikyo bottle was distilled in 1989 and was presented in a final release bottle without box. A good whisky, indeed.
