Kawasaki was set up in 1935 in Kawasaki prefecture on the outskirts of Tokyo. One of the smallest distilleries in Japan, it is not as well-known as its sister distillery Karuizawa. This particular Kawasaki bottle is from the Ghost Series. It was distilled in 1980 and was bottled in 2014. This whisky is as superb as everything else from Kawasaki and Karuizawa! A rare collector’s item which will only become rarer as time passes. Grab it while it’s still here!
