Hibiki Whisky

Hibiki is Suntory's blended whisky, first released in 1989. It brings together malt whisky from the Yamazaki and Hakushu distilleries with grain whisky from Chita, married together by Suntory's blending team. The name 響 means resonance, and the 24-facet bottle is Suntory's nod to the 24 seasons of the old Japanese calendar.

The range runs from the no-age-statement Japanese Harmony through the 12, 17, 21 and 30 Year Old age statements. The older expressions were discontinued as Suntory's aged stocks ran short, which is why bottles that were once shelf staples now trade as collectors' items. Alongside them sit the annual Blossom Harmony limited releases and the Blender's Choice.

At dekantā we buy in Japan and ship direct. Every bottle is photographed as it sits in our Tokyo warehouse, with label and box condition described before you order. Delivery is worldwide, typically 3 to 10 days.

If the Hibiki you are after is not listed, tell us. Sourcing rare and discontinued Japanese whisky is what we do, and we will look for it.
