The Glover 22 Year Old is a rare breed indeed. It is blended from three single casks; 65% is from Hanyu in Saitama, Japan, 35% originates in Longmorn, Moray, and an additional 1% comes from Glen Garioch in Aberdeenshire. In total, 390 numbered bottles of the 53.1% abv, non-chill-filtered whisky will be released. The brand takes its name from Glover, a Scottish merchant, who was born in 1838 in Fraserburgh, Aberdeenshire. However, at the age of just 21, Glover left Scotland to trade in Japan. Being a combination of the best of Scotland and Japan, it is a must try for any fan of high quality whisky.
