Distilled at the world-famous Yamazaki distillery, this limited edition single malt was then matured in a Bordeaux Wine Cask that has added a gentle sweetness to the spirit that is backed up a subtle sourness that arrives on the finish. It's a fruity, complex and rich expression, as we have come to expect from Suntory and Yamazaki, and it delivers on the nose, palate and finish. Despite having no age statement, this whisky still manages to work the mind and taste buds, keeping you on your toes and having you come back for another pour before long. A real delight.
