As one of 309 bottles, the Karuizawa Vintage 40 Year Old single malt from cask #6114 is a vintage treasure from this now closed Japanese whisky distillery. Aged in a sherry butt cask for 40 years and bottled in 2014, this rich and complex whisky has a strong sherry and spice flavor that is a signature taste for Karuizawa spirits.  This dram comes in a sleek bottle with a wooden coaster for display purposes.

Once located at the foot of Mount Asama, Karuizawa Distillery was a historical Japanese whisky distillery that set itself apart with its one-of-a-kind spirits; even today, Karuizawa is highly sought after and has one of the rarest whiskies on the market.
