This stunning new release from the Akkeshi distillery's Born Foundation Series was matured in Mizunara wood sourced locally in Hokkaido. The climate in the area helps to create a rich and moreish spirit and the cask has imparted an incredible array of notes that mingle in harmonic fashion. It's a well-rounded and exciting release that will have you going back for another sip before long.
