Wakatsuru Shozou Distillery is one of the long-established, but not well known Japanese distilleries. Wakatsuru Distillery obtained a license to distil whisky in 1953 and has been producing a small amount of whisky on and off since this time. This bottle is a Gyokuto 2021 released whisky from the little known Wakatsuru Shuzou distillery in Toyama. The liquid is smooth and full of many different interesting notes that excite your palate from the first moment to last.
