If you are a fan of rare whiskies this could be something for you. The Suntory Pure Malt is a line of whiskies produced at the Hakushu distillery, but was discontinued in 1999. Bottles such as this gem are becoming increasingly rare, and obviously, the older the rarer. This particular bottle was finished in 1981, the same year the eastern part of the Hakushu distillery was opened. It is one of the oldest vintages of an already rare whisky. If you like to try, or own something, few others do, then this is a bottle to consider.
