The Eigashima distillery is a small Ji-whisky maker, located in Hyogo prefecture. Chiefly known for making Sake and Shochu, they first entered the local whisky market in 2007. This particular bottle is the Sea Front Mellow & Mild release. It is a blended whisky privately bottled for Mitsubishi Foods. Subtle and balanced, this a lovely, affordable dram for lovers of Japanese whisky. *This particular bottling was produced prior to the introduction of Japanese whisky labeling standards in February 2021.*
