Generously blended with selected, unblended whiskies, which have been matured for more than 20 years, it is rich and ethereal, both in flavour and aroma, as one would expect from the name “Nikka 2nd Millennium Festival”. The label design is based on “Kocho” (Butterfly) Vol. 24 from “Genji Monogatari” (The Tale of Genji; 11th century Japanese Literature), which accentuates the amber colour of the whisky.
